We strive to ship your greenlakegallery.com order within 24 hours. We have 2 studios in the Seattle and Bellevue WA area. If the piece needs to be transferred, it may take us up to 36 hours to wrap and ship your jewelry.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund or exchange.
Please note: No refunds or store credit for jewelry that has been custom made, altered or resized.

We will process your refund as soon as we receive your order in the studio and we’ll send you a confirmation via email as soon as the refund has been processed. It may take 5-7 business days for your refund to show on your account, depending on the credit institutions.
At the moment, we do not offer international shipping, but we will be happy to ship to your US address!

Plus, if you'd like to see how a piece looks in different lighting or get a sense of its scale, we'll gladly provide additional photos or even selfies wearing the jewelry.
Yes! Green Lake Jewelry Works specialize in designing and making custom Jewelry. Work with your personal designer to help you with your original and unique piece.

If you are looking for a personalized piece of jewelry from one of our makers and partners you see in our Gallery space, we will be happy to work with you and your favorite artist to customize a piece of jewelry, when the artist offers this service. Please get in touch and we will help!

Absolutely! We offer a wide range of jewelry pieces, including essential pieces that are perfect for everyday wear. From simple stud earrings to classic pendant necklaces, we have something for every occasion.
Our jewelry is crafted from precious metals, unless clearly stated.
With the exception of a couple of collection of contemporary jewelry art, which is made of industrial or experimental metals, all our jewelry is made of Silver, Gold or Platinum. All materials are listed in the descriptions, but if you have questions about specific pieces, please get in touch!
While we value completely hand-crafted jewelry, it's important to clarify the industry standards around the term 'hand-made.' According to trading standards, the definition of 'hand-made' implies that the entire shaping, forming, finishing, and decoration of a product must be accomplished solely by hand labor and manually-controlled methods.
In reality, very few jewelry pieces that are described as “hand-made” in the market meet this strict definition. However, at Green Lake Jewelry, we take great care in curating our collections to ensure they are crafted with transparency, quality, and integrity.
We primarily collaborate with small companies, where often the designer is intimately involved in the making process. These artisans may work individually or with a small team of jewelers to bring their visions to life. We value and celebrate our makers, vendors and partners, their artistry, craftsmanship, and the passion that goes into creating each piece.
For some of our Essential collections, we partner with reputable larger companies. For instance, one of our trusted partners is a German company renowned for their design expertise. While their production takes place in Thailand, they maintain rigorous quality control standards and are highly respected within the jewelry industry.

If you want to look after your jewelry, these are some general tips to make sure it lasts longer:
• Store your jewelry separately from other pieces to minimize scratches to metals and stones.
• Cable neck wires will kink beyond repair if not stored flat.
• Do not use jewelry cleaners on oxidized silver as this will remove the patina.
• Do not use harsh jewelry cleaners on pearls and softer/porous gemstones. Always talk to your trusted jeweler for best advice
• Chlorinated water will damage precious metal. Take your jewelry off in swimming pools and hot tubs.
Whether you always wear your jewelry, or you take it off the moment you walk into your home, we recommend having your gemstone jewelry checked and cleaned every 6 months by a professional jeweler.
Yes, we have a team of restoration specialists in both our studios. You are welcome to come into the studio and work with them for most precious metal jewelry repairs. We provide estimates before any work begins, so you'll know what to expect.
Unfortunately, we don't repair plated or non-precious metal pieces.
We offer appraisals by appointment in both shops and via drop off service. Our appraisals are performed by independent GIA trained Graduate gemologists.
